The 49ers were down to their third-string running back in Guerendo as both Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason landed on injured reserve earlier this week.
Prior to Guerendo’s injury, the rookie tallied 15 carries for 78 yards in addition to two catches for 50 yards. Guerendo also recorded two touchdowns in his first game as the lead running back.
Guerendo left to the 49ers locker room with a little over five minutes remaining in the Week 14 matchup.
