MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -Christian Brothers University has announced they are eliminating 20 non-faculty positions as the university works to turn around its finances.
Eight of the eliminated positions were unfilled roles.
This is just the latest move since CBU was placed on finance-related probation last fall; the university announced the latest changes to their employees Friday.
Other cost-saving efforts include executive and vice presidents taking a 5 percent salary reduction.
CBU officials said they are on track to be off probation by winter 2025.
