Boise State’s Danielson wins Grant Teaff Coach of the Year [Video]

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson has been recognized as the Grant Teaff Coach of the Year by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The organization presents the award annually to the coach who demonstrates Christian faith, integrity and leadership.

In his debut season as head coach, Danielson led the Broncos to a 12-2 record and victory in the Old Trapper Mountain West Championship. The team earned the No. 3 seed in the College Football Playoff and appeared in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl. He was also named AFCA Region 5 Coach of the Year and Mountain West Coach of the Year, while being named a finalist for the Paul “Bear” Bryant Award and George Munger Award.
