Business partner of Brad Simpson indicted in Suzanne Simpson case [Video]

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Another indictment is in as the case of a missing Olmos Park woman continues.

KSAT-12 reports James Cotter, a business partner of Brad Simpson, is formally charged in connection to the disappearance of Suzanne Simpson.

Cotter was arrested in late October, a few weeks after Suzanne disappeared. He is now charged with intent to impair an investigation and possession of prohibited weapons after he was indicted by a Bexar County grand jury.

Investigators say Brad urged Cotter to go into his gun room on October 8 to remove an AK-47 that was illegally modified. From there, detectives say Cotter hid the weapon in his home.

Suzanne disappeared on October 6 after police believe the couple had been fighting that night. Brad reported his wife missing the next day, but investigators believe he spent much of that day trying to get rid of evidence.
