AJ Dybantsa officially committed to play college basketball at BYU on Tuesday morning. The top-ranked recruit in the Class of 2025 is expected to receive a large fortune in NIL money to play what will likely be one single season in Provo.
He will be a multi-millionaire as an 18-year-old freshman.
Dybantsa, a 6-foot-9, 200-pound small forward with a wingspan greater than seven feet, is already projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. His highlight tape will make it very obvious why that is the case.
Dybantsa averaged 19.1 points and 9.6 rebounds at St. Sebastian’s School in Massachusetts last season. He also led Team USA to a U17 World Cup championship behind a stat line of 14 points, four rebounds and four assists per game.
