Christian Brothers in search of 14th state baseball title [Video]

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It’s Spring Fling time! Three Memphis-area high school baseball teams are hoping they’ll be hoisting the state title trophy in a couple of days. 

One of those teams is Christian Brothers High School, who have already won 13 state championships. The last time they were crowned the best team in the state was 2016, and the last time they played for a title was 2019. 

But now they are ready to make a play at it again, and the guy at the helm knows a thing or two about making plays. 

Thirteen years before Jason Motte was throwing BP at Christian Brothers, he was throwing the final out in the Cardinals World Series Win over the Rangers.
