Community Makeover Day in Bond Hill [Video]

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – The Cincinnati Reds, P&G, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden along with Cincinnati Children’s, GE Aerospace, Kroger and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation are partnering Thursday for the annual Community Makeover service project.

This year it will be in Bond Hill at Xavier Jesuit Academy.

The scholarship-funded, faith-based school for young boys will open its doors for the first time later this month.

Now in its 15th year, the Community Makeover project brings together some of Cincinnati’s most historic and iconic institutions with local community partners who make a transformative and sustainable impact on this neighborhood while strengthening youth baseball and softball programs.

The day-long volunteer project starts at 8:30 a.m. and will feature 500 volunteers working at:
