Darts star reveals how he’ll spend money after banking 60k with stunning nine-darter [Video]

Christian Kist says he had no idea his historic nine-darter had won him £60,000.

The Dutchman sent a raucous Alexandra Palace crowd wild with a sensational effort at the 2025 World Championship.

It was the first nine-darter since the 2023 final and just the 15th time it been seen at the event and resulted in a bumper payout.

Paddy Power split £180,000 evenly between Kist, a random fan picked out by the Sky Sports cameras and Prostate Cancer UK.

Kist only found out about his payday in the break after winning the opening set of his first-round clash with Madars Razma.

“It was a special moment for me yesterday and for the fan and for the charity. It was great,” he told the Daily Mail.

“I was very surprised. A nice surprise. I said nothing, ‘Oh nice that’s nice’ [upon being told of the sum]. I will spend the money on my family, maybe a holiday.
