On Day 3 of Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Church of God in Jackson, Michigan, the children continued learning this year’s theme song, “Wanted By God.”
After the devotion, the children went to their classrooms to work on themed crafts and memory verses.
In the 3-4 year old class, Sis. Ella shared the story of Jonah and how he disobeyed God and was swallowed by a whale; she even brought in a large, inflatable whale to make the story come alive, which the kids loved!
Meanwhile, the boys worked on woodworking projects outside, and inside, the 9-10 year old class created wanted posters with Sis. Kamylah and Sis. Katie, including personalized Sheriff badges.
The tween and teenage girls are working on something neat with 5-gallon buckets and fabric. You will have to come back tomorrow to find out what it is!
Despite the rain, it was another beautiful day at Vacation Bible School.
