Former Oregon Ducks star Bol Bol to re-sign with the Phoenix Suns: Report [Video]

Bol Bol could’ve signed with another team for more money, but in the end, he liked the stability and environment with the Phoenix Suns. The forward and former Oregon Ducks’ star has agreed to return to the Suns on a one-year, $2.4 million contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The new deal was the maximum amount the Suns could offer. Another team conceivably could have offered Bol more money and more years, but the 7-foot swingman decided to remain in Phoenix.

Another possible factor in Bol’s decision is new head coach Mike Budenholzer, who was hired after the Suns fired Frank Vogel after one season. Budenholzer reportedly sees an expanded role for Bol during the upcoming season.

After a slow start, Bol increased his productivity during the second of the season. He finished the season averaging 5.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.6 blocks in 10.9 minutes per game last season. The numbers weren’t great, but Bol seemed to improved …
