Mike Braun sworn in as Indiana’s 52nd governor: ‘Now, let’s get to work!’ | Politics [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Mike Braun is officially Indiana’s governor.

The Republican was sworn in at a ceremony in Indianapolis on Monday morning. Braun took the oath on two Bibles, including his family Bible and the one used by former President Benjamin Harrison.

Braun, the former U.S. senator from Indiana, is now the state’s 52nd governor. 

“From the farms to factories, our entrepreneurs have created thriving small businesses and some of the most important operations on Earth supporting critical industries in the daily lives of American citizens. In the face of any challenge, Hoosiers have stepped up to take our state to unprecedented  heights, and we’re not going to stop doing it.” Braun said in his inauguration speech. 

Soon after taking the oath, Braun made his first social media post as governor.
