Northumberland non-profit in need of summer clothing donations [Video]

A nonprofit is looking for summer clothing donations to help out a faith-based thrift store.

WATSONTOWN, Pa. — Kingdom Kids Incorporated in Watsontown is a non-profit puppet ministry. The organization recently partnered with Community Aid Neighbors Helping Neighbors out of Selinsgrove, a faith-based thrift store. Kingdom Kids is working to help the store replenish its summer clothes, which are running low due to the hot weather we’ve been having.

“We are a collection area, so we get—it’s a fundraiser for us, and we get 13 cents a pound for all the clothing we take down, so they’re asking for clothing, they’re asking for shoes, anything all sizes for children to adults, said Donna Bridge Kingdom Kids Incorporated founder. 

Staff at Kingdom Kids collect items to take to the Community Aid distribution center in Selinsgrove. Workers at Community Aid then weigh all the items, and every quarter, Kingdom Kids receives a check for the donations.
