Queerly Beloved, by Susie Dumond, was published in 2022. In the 2010s, Tulsa-based baker Amy learned early to put herself last. Out to a small group of family and friends, losing her job at the Christian-based bakery changes her life in multiple ways. A one-time favor to a friend subbing as a bridesmaid turns into a full-blown business. Then there is Charley, a transplant from Texas who is extremely attractive.

Those who know Amy best are thrilled that she is finally her full genuine self. But when the people-pleasing kicks into overdrive, she has to choose between putting it all on the line or continuing on the same course.
