Suspects from Kentucky bank robbery arrested in Nashville [Video]

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities arrested two people in Nashville Wednesday in connection with a bank robbery that happened in Lexington, Kentucky, last month.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Forcht Bank on Southland Drive at approximately 4:20 p.m. on May 21 for a robbery.

Officials said two people entered the bank, demanded money, and fled the scene. However, using technology in the Real-Time Intelligence Center — including traffic cameras and license plate readers — detectives managed to identify the suspects.

On Wednesday, June 12, members of the FBI and the Metro Nashville Police Department took Markwez Wynn and Stephen Hampton, both 25, into custody in Nashville, authorities said.
