A teacher in Laurens County, South Carolina, who was arrested this month for identity fraud is now accused of assaulting a special needs student, according to deputies. Bryia Lattimore Scott, of Simpsonville, was arrested Dec. 19 after the Laurens County School District 55 alerted authorities that Scott impersonated Viola Church in order to gain employment at Waterloo Elementary. At that time, Scott was charged with identity fraud to unlawfully gain employment and her bond was set by a magistrate at $5,000. On Monday, Scott was arrested again after being accused of assaulting a special needs student, according to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.
