ATLANTA — In the aftermath of the recent shooting at Apalachee High School, which left four people dead and nine others injured, the community is still grappling with the heartbreaking loss.
Among those lost were two dedicated teachers, Richard Aspinwall and Cristina Irimie, and two 14-year-old students, Christian Angulo and Mason Schermerhorn.
As students prepare to return to school next week, local businesses and organizations have been rallying to provide support. Texas Roadhouse has joined the effort, announcing that on Monday, Sept. 23, all of its Georgia locations will donate 100% of their profits to benefit Apalachee High School through the Barrow Community Foundation, the designated fund for the Barrow County School System.
The fundraising effort aims to help the families affected by the shooting, offering financial assistance to them as they heal from the tragedy.
