Words equal worlds: The people behind the positive billboards in Peoria [Video]

PEORIA (25News Now) – Hopeful messages like “Vibrant Together” can be seen throughout Peoria on billboards and buttons at local businesses, but who is behind this push for positivity in the River City?

It’s a project Richwoods Christian Church started in January 2024 to spread its values throughout the community.

They created eight different buttons, each with positive encouragement. Lead Pastor Chad Manbeck hopes it can be a beacon of hope for our community regardless of their religious beliefs.

” What our values do is they, they give us the guardrails of how we do everything, and we thought, ‘what if we could get these messages on buttons all over town, put them on signs, and they could be little encouragements of not just what we do but how they could live life better,’” said Manbeck.
