Yard sale for non-profit ACCEPT, Reno Aces fundraiser next month | Local News [Video]

The non-profit organization Access for Community and Culture Education Programs and Trainings (ACCEPT) held a yard sale on Saturday.

The sale took place at the Greater Light Christian Center on West Seventh Street in Reno.

ACCEPT is a non-profit that provides HIV and AIDS prevention education, intervention and support services, focusing on the black community in Washoe County.

According to the organization, black people have been disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS since the beginning of the epidemic, prompting Paster Glenn E. Taylor Senior to found ACCEPT in 1995.

The next fundraiser will be a Reno Aces game fundraiser on Thursday, September 5.

Folks will be able to buy tickets for grass seating for $16, or stadium seating for $22.
